You can grow your own SCOBY from scratch in 3 days using this method. For that, you’ll need:- 1 cup of unflavoured unpasterized kombucha;- 100 ml of filtered water;- 1 spoon of loose black tea;- 1/2 spoon of sugar (optional).Brew extra strong black tea for 3-5 min. Strain it. Add sugar (if kombucha is not to sweet already) and stir. Let the liquid to chill and add kombucha. Cover with paper towel and leave in a dark and warm place at room temperature for couple of days. In 3 days (or when the SCOBY will get thicker than 0,5 cm) you can transfer it to bigger vessel.
